To promote an American made breed by advertising, education, registration, and showing.
Our goals
This Registry was started By a Breeder that wants more for the Silky Fainting Goat. I want to see the breed expand to all breeders. With no limitations, and with unchanging rules and regulations. I have developed a registry that will work for the Breeders.
I will offer Memberships, Registrations and a Online Pedigree Database for your convience. I will promote the Breed with Sanctioned Shows and Education to the public and marketing. I will take the time to listen to other breeders concerns about the breed and it's development.
I am here to help other breeders establish their own herds, that meet the requirements of the Breed.
The American Silky Fainting Goat Registry is a sole owned registry. In doing this I will provide Breeders with a registry that will not have frequent changes. Will have the consistency needed to successfully promote the Silky Fainting Goat Breed. While at the same time being responsive to the Breeders wishes and needs.
I hope that you will join Me in the Registry to promote and further expand this breed to all Breeders that are interested in the development of this breed.
VISION STATEMENT
The ASFGR aims to improve the breed by slowly tightening the breed standard and requirements for registration. *By tightening the Breed Standards we will have a Strong Myotonic influence, yet still have the look that makes this breed unique.*
Through promotion of the breed, I hope to create national recognition and foster growth of the American Silky Fainting Goat breed. Involving youth and adults alike, will inspire long lasting friendships, and encourage integrity and ethics.
